A New Era of Professional Baseball

Professional baseball will be back in Spartanburg starting in 2025 after a 30-year hiatus following the exit of the Spartanburg Phillies back in 1994. The team will be affiliated with the World Champion Texas Rangers and will call Fifth Third Park, a new, state-of-the-art ballpark and entertainment venue, that is currently under construction and slated to be completed before the 2025 season. Patrons can expect to get a first-in-class baseball, food, merchandise and entertainment experience that always puts the fan first!

Let's Make Fifth Third Park the NEW Hub of Hub City

Spartanburg Professional Baseball is excited to announce Fifth Third Bank as our naming rights partner and introduce Fifth Third Park as our future home! It is exciting to begin this project with such an amazing partner to help us execute our goals of establishing a community first, customer first culture that also delivers a first-in-class baseball and entertainment experience.

Beginning April 2025, Fifth Third Park, the home of the Spartanburg Professional Baseball Club, an affiliate of the World Champion Texas Rangers, will open its gates to usher in the new era of professional baseball and entertainment in downtown Spartanburg. Not only will the community have access to some of the top baseball talent in the country, but they can also expect non-baseball entertainment like concerts, comedy shows, festivals and more. You won’t want to miss any of the FUN happening at Fifth Third Park!
